See my arm? That is the first tattoo I had done. Second tattoo was a Jesus fish, 'cause I love Him. Perfect for church the next day. They only last 3-5 days and are airbrushed on by the artist. Son2 slept through it. This was part of the entertainment at a baby luau we went to, with a circus theme. Folks on the mainland, this is really something in the islands. Baby luaus are a traditional way to celebrate birthdays. These are huge shin digs with full blown themes, lots of food, and tons of fun, and loads of people come.
Son 1 helped with the magic show. He couldn't see too well. So then he asked Bungie in the teeniest voice if he could have an elephant. And that's what he got. I thought I recognized this clown. She is usually at our local town center on Mondays, 30 miles from this party. I would know her rabbit anywhere.
We didn't take pictures of the bouncy house, and that is a crying shame. The bouncy house was taller than our friends' two story house. It had one of those giant slides taller than the house, too.
Son1 had tons of shave ice, though. This was about his third one. They had a caterer making Hawaiiian hurricane popcorn, cotton candy, and shave ice. Son1 had banana flavor with heavy cream topped with a gumball.
that is quite the shindig. Looks like you all had fun, though! Love the shaved ice pic. sounds... yummy, i think.
ReplyDeleteGood thing we'll move from the island before Kathleen will know that we robbed her of a baby luau for her 1st birthday! I love the family photo with Son2 sleeping. Now, that's a party!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a good time was had by all! Has Joshua come off of his sugar high yet?
