Bloggy Giveaways: Kona Coffee

Bloggy Giveaways Quarterly Carnival Button

Giveaway is now closed.

As part of the Bloggy Carnival giveaway, I am giving away a tropical assortment of all purpose gourmet coffee blend from the Hawaiian Isles Kona Coffee Company. The flavors are Vanilla Macadamia Nut, Kona Classic, and Kona Sunrise.
To enter, leave a comment asking a question about Hawaii. I will answer the most popular questions here when the contest is over. You have to ask a question to be entered!

For a second entry, subscribe to my blog (check the sidebar) and leave a separate comment telling me you are either a new subscriber or already a subscriber.

Make sure I have a way to contact you, either through your blog link, or through email. Only publish email if you don't think I have it! The end of the contest will be 8am Hawaii Standard Time on Saturday, November 1. I will announce the winners on Sunday, November 2 sometime on Hawaii Standard Time! Much aloha!

  9. Do most kids still learn hula? I love the hula. We watch Lilo and Stitch all the time in my house and love that song (When blue skies (something) and my song comes drifting on the wind). Is that a common song there (maybe just a made up song for the TV series)? I love it it is so soothing. I would love the words to it do you know where I could find them?

    Alright, for the question. I had a US History teacher in high school say that living in Hawaii he found that the locals were really antagonistic to people who would move there from the continent. I'm sure that's a generalization, but is there any truth to it? And if so, then why do you think that is? And if he was wrong, than why could he have thought they disliked him?

    I guess I don't understand the concept of 'one question' :P! Feel free to answer any of them.

  68. umm YUM! I want the vanilla but my man would most likely not, so the sunrise would be the fave around here.

    SO, my question is .... are dogs still kept in holding for several months before allowed to be with owners if you move there or did they figure that out? I have recently heard conflicting stories. no rabies on the island and of course they would like to keep it that way.

  72. Kona is my fave! My dad used to work on Johnston Atoll (800 miles W of you) and would come home with gifts of flowers and Kona. Ahhhh...I can just smell it now!

    My question - when did the mainland diet (now the Standard American Diet) infiltrate and weaken the traditional healthy diet of the natives?

  146. My husband and I are stationed in Alaska and our friend continues to talk of coffee from Hawaii and how her friend has to send her it so she can have her fix. We have never found it, but of course Alaska you cant find much haha :)
