I'm Going to BlogHer '11! 
Welcome to The Farmer Files!
I am the mother of three active and affectionate little boys, ages 6, 3, and 1. They are truly gifts. I love life as a boy mom. I am honored that God has called me to raise future husbands. I hope they grow up to be just like their daddy, Dr. Romance. We met in an elevator in college. He has a PhD in Something Important, but I call him Dr. Romance. We were married on the Fourth of July twelve years ago just so we could call those fireworks "ours." We are living in the Boston area through June, while Dr.Romance is working at Harvard. We call ourselves the "uncommons" as a play on the Boston Common site, because we are from the land of palm trees and all things laid back. I hold a B.A. in History from UCLA, a teaching credential from CSUN, and an M.Ed. in Administration and Supervision from UVA. Those are my lesser accomplishments. Most importantly I love Jesus.

ReplyDeleteWhat a good looking family! You all compliment each other so nicely in your matching attire! I guess it goes with your motto of there being no I in Farmer... it's all about the team and having matching shirts just goes to show that Farmer pride ;)!
ReplyDeleteI never knew that you were a matching outfit kind of person. Who knew that after all those years of protest, you would turn into Mom!! Reminds me of that little old couple at First pres where the lady always matched her dress to her husband's tie:)
