Fridays are the days we take it easy in Hawaii. We call it Aloha Friday, much like what folks on the mainland call TGIF. I post a question, and you comment. That's it, unless you want to ask your own question at An Island Life. My question is:
Do you play games for fun or for money?
We have been known to do both. I have more fun playing for prizes than for money, though. Come back tomorrow and read how my four year old plays with poker chips and dominoes.
Gosh, I don't think I've ever done that!
ReplyDeleteLOL, can't wait to hear about your son's poker winnings! LOL
LOL, I mean dominoes winnings!
ReplyDeleteJust for fun :)
ReplyDeleteIt is all about the fun here. I can not wait to hear the story tomorrow. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love to play games. My husband only likes video games which I don't like. I did play the Wii for the first last night and liked it. Bowling is so much easier than in real life.
ReplyDeleteIn Vegas, I play pai gow poker because it is the only game that I have found where I can play for a long time before losing my money. I don't play to win money; I know I won't win any. I sit down knowing that I am spending a certain amount of money to play for a few hours.
I love playing but only for fun.
ReplyDeleteI grew up playing poker for pennies on every boating trip we took and there were lots! Now? I haven't played poker in years & we always play board games or phase 10! sigh... sometimes I miss my misspent youth!
ReplyDeleteOnce the farmers return to the promise land, I completely intend to have a rematch of cranium! Just for fun :)
ReplyDeleteI love playing games..but my husband won't.. he says its no fun because he always wins.. which is NOT true. lol I do love playing a game if there is a prize.. I mean who doesn't? lol
ReplyDeleteOOO I forgot...my husband and I use to play mancalla before bed BEFORE WE HAD CHILDREN...anyway yes there is something we played for...which I think lead to the children we have now. We have not played Mancalla before bed for almost five years now...hmmmm
ReplyDeleteWe don't play games very often, but it would be for fun if we did!
ReplyDeleteI used to live on Oahu for 6 years!!
Both, but just for fun! =)
ReplyDeleteI play for fun, and usually the video game type... not a big card game player, although it is fun with family. :)
ReplyDeleteOnly for fun!
ReplyDeletefor fun!
ReplyDeleteI just play for fun. It would be nice to have a bet other than money like a snack treat. :)
ReplyDeleteI just play for fun!
ReplyDeleteJust for fun :)
ReplyDeletefor fun. I don't like to part with my money too easily, considering i have very little of it:)

ReplyDeleteI just play for fun but it would be great to play for money or prizes.
ReplyDeleteI play for fun. I hate taking things from my friends. And for some reason, I get embarrassed when I win prizes. Probably inside-out pride. :)
ReplyDeletePoker and ping pong, but only when I am at your place.
ReplyDeleteLOVE playing for prizes, GF. I know I am competitive. (So is Mark. ;))
ReplyDeleteHey R! Sorry I haven't commented yet, I just posted about it yesterday :) I hope you're doing alright! We LOVE playing games! Prizes are definitely fun :)
