What would be the one thing you would do this weekend if you were moving out of state?

After nearly four glorious years in Hawaii my husband and I have chosen to make a very difficult move from Hawaii back to California. We have loved Hawaii and consider it home more than anywhere else. We have not lived in CA for nearly nine years. This is our very last weekend in Hawaii. However, I have such a back log of posts I will be posting about Hawaii a bit longer. With the tropical storm brewing, and the threat of an island wide power outage, I am not sure exactly how we will spend the weekend. But I know we will spend it together.

Do you have a favorite museum or nature interpretive center near you?

The major museum collection for the state of Hawaii is at the Bishop Museum and they have great exhibits! This week end I am posting about the shark exhibit.

Do you play games for fun or for money?

Are you more afraid of the dental hygienist or the dentist? Who spooks you more?

I have a dental appointment on Halloween afternoon. I am definitely more spooked by the hygienist because I don't like to be scraped and scolded!

How and when did you learn to swim?

I started swim lessons at 14 months with my DAD at a mommy and me YMCA class in San Diego. He was so proud to be 1 of 2 dads in the class.
